Maintenance or Repair Request

Tenant Instructions - Next Steps:

  1. A member of our Maintenance Team will contact you, during regular business hours, to follow up on this request.

  2. If a contractor is required, the work will be assigned and they will contact you to arrange a time to complete this work.

  3. You must be home at the time of the repair or you can make arrangements with a trusted neighbour, family member or friend to permit entry to the unit at the pre-scheduled time.

  4. If you cannot be home for the pre-scheduled appointment, please call our office or the contractor back 24-hours prior to the appointment time in order to reschedule. Failure to notify the contractor or our office may result in tenant charges for the missed appointment.

  5. If the repair requires you to move items or prepare in any way for the work to be completed, you will be notified at the time of scheduling your appointment. If the contractor cannot complete the work due to the area being unprepared, you may receive tenant charges for a missed appointement or any extra work required.

  6. If this is an emergency the landlord is permitted to enter your unit without notice (as per the Residential Tenancies Act, 2006). Restricting entry to your unit could delay a repair and cause excess damage.
